Advantages: None
Disadvantages: Three Door Squeeze
I have changed my op rapidly on this car because of the problems we have had over the last few months with it. We have had to take it too the garage six times due to one fault which they have as yet not fixed they have just seemed to charge us for parts we do not need. So out of pocket next week we will be without transport and the garage has yet to offer us a replacement I am told by hyundai that I will have to pay for 3 piston rings which we dont need and by the warranty company that if we do not replace the parts whcih don't need replacing then they will be invaludated. I feel there is a conspircay against the customers here Any one have £247 spare because I don't Hyundai have been of no help, As i am ill and can hardly speak at the moment customer service told me to sent to the customer feedback apeg i have several rimes for a week with no response I would not recommend anyone to buy a Hyundai as there is a low rate of cutomer serivce after you have bought the car Out car was registred in 1998. We bought it second hand fron the Hyuandi dealer Gold for Gateshead where it had spent it's short but happy life being looked after as a courtesy car Three Doors - ooops Never thought I would mind having three doors on a car. We were discussing this when we chose the new car. I mean five doors is nice and all but the first car my boyfriend had, our last car had five doors and was an escort. A falling apart can we make the journey without another piece of the car stop workingi.e clutch acceltor brakes started to go. falling off - wing mirror nearly, boot snapped. So everything about this car we thought would be an improvment. No - we decided since for the last year we drove miles but did'nt have passengers a three door would be okay. How come everyone already has a car or does'nt need a lift till you get a three door. Then it's are you going
out, can you drop me off. Out of basic politness I squezze into the back. I'ma size ten so it's not hard for me but still not easy. The boot though is roomy. Big enough to hold all your bags. That was also why we chose it. We go campling a lot so we need a roomy boot. The seat are comfy - really nice and comfy and recline perfectly. Which is great for me. The lighter is also on the passenger side. So if I want to plug my car massager in there no wires traling everywhere. It has Air - Condtioing. It's so cool no more winding up windows and closing blowers when we go through the tunnel everyday anymore. Just a flick of the switch. It has an electrcal arial, hey I don't drive so I have to be amused with the small things. I also like the flashy signal which comes up if you have'nt shut the door put on your seat belt. Picture of a lillte man in said seat belt and car door. Howevre we did'nt get central locking which I think is usually standard on this make. But we did get a sunroof. Only problem is you can partly open it up but it's not a windy back kind. I didn't yet mention the electric windows. Did I, way cool. Okay if you have a new car you will not be impressed but for a model as cheap as this is it's good. The accelerations quite good. And according to my boyfriend you get good mileage but it's a liitle heavy on the sterring. No power steering. We had one fault with it so far which is the window. The motor went so it was'nt closing proplerly but as we bought a year guarantee we took it back to them and they did'nt argue at fixing it. That's not normal I hear you say, as did everyone I talked to. No argument over that's not covered in the gurantee. Quite pleased about that. However it did need a new lighter and ashtray when we bought it. Purely because it was a company car and they'd got
ten knocked around a bit. Bu the nice woman ordered us new ones. Stuck them in the drawer for several months and kept saying she couldn't find them but that's the staff and not the car. They also took weeks taking our old car which we part exchanged. In which time we had to park in half a space and bashed the new car agaisnt the wall. I might mention I partly blame them for this when I take it to them to gt it fixed. I have heard the car is not very safe in a crash as it crumbles - if we ever get it back of the dealership i hope i never find out
