Nice perky small car
Member Name: TheJewFro
Advantages: Small, good turning circle, space, easy to park
Disadvantages: costly to run, MOT got pricey, parts were expensive
I have used and owned two Atoz both with the atix+ trim which basicly meant you had alloy wheels and fog lights both were good little city cars they could pull off reasonably fast and didnt handle too badly considering the overall "weird" shape of them. i had more than enough room to drive comfortably at 6'6. Teh fuel ecconemy left alittle to the imagination though using almost as much fuel for normal driving as a much larger 1.8 car that my family had at the time. The ride was abit choppy the smallest bump could feel like a mountain and if you had more than two people in the car the engine would struggle alot on flat ground let alone if you were going up a hill. the spec was not the best but for its age coming with fog lights, radio/cassette, power streering, lumbar support and a couple of extra little features it wasnt bad considering the price to purchase. overall the car was a good first car and i would recomend it if you havent driven anything bigger or more powerfull before as once you have you will notice the lack in power and space. both cars had to be scrapped after not much over a year of driving as the first one's transmition case cracked and it would cost more than a new car to repair and the seccond the head gasket blew again too expensive to repair. one other small problem was the wiring for the rear lights was hit and miss after about 6 months both cars reversing lights would no longer function so reversing or parking at night was very hard. As i said before i would only recomend this car as a first car for someone who doesnt plan on keeping it for too long either.
Summary: not bad as a first car but i wouldnt recomend it.
