Advantages: cheap, cheerful, economic
Disadvantages: atoz-discontinued, not for teenagers
i have owned my hyundai atoz for more than 2 years now - purchased it new and 'touch wood' it has not given me one problem. ok it is cheap and cheerful - but for the short distances i use it for it has proven to be very economical - it is a shame that hyundai stopped making this model. they have replaced it with an amica - which looks similar - not so boxy.
it is the only car i have owned in which a person over 6' tall does not bump their head when entering/exiting.
i am also pleased that we purchased the semi-automatic version - no clutch but we get the same mpg as with a manual transmission.
if you are looking for an economical - roomy car (when the back seats fold down) then i believe the hyundais are definitely worth a second look. i could never go back to a ford/vauxhall/rover now (sorry to those companies) but i had nothing but problems with their cars - hyundais seem to be a different class - as in reliable!
