I've had the car for two years now, since new and overall am very impressed with the Hyundai Coupe 1.6. It looks good at a reasonable price and is a head turner if thats what you are looking for.
Space wise it isn't bad for a coupe, for driver and passenger very good legroom, although backseat passengers over 5ft have minimum head and leg room and may find there heads up against the back window. Boot space is great.
Given that it is a 1.6 I am impressed by the power although I did test drive the 2.0l and this is significantly faster, also disappointing the 1.6l doesn't have climate control as standard. Petrol consumtion is not great - I average about 30mpg and also CO2 emisions are relatively high.
Hyundai service care is overall good although I have had a few issues which have required the car to be returned. Also the car comes with an anti-corrosion warranty but at service time they check for any paint damage and I had a small mark on the passenger door (I think caused from another car door hitting it) which has made this warranty invalid.
Radio/ CD is good as are speakers and a real bonus that Ipod connectivity is standard.
