Hyundai Coupé in general

The first car from Hyundai built to more 'western' specifications and standards. Despite Hyundai's previously poor reputation for build quality and design, this car looks and feels well built. First off it looks fantastic, almost like a ferrari from certain angles (it will never pass for one, but from certain angles you can see where the designers took their influences!) Inside is very dark and plasticy but it is solidly constructed, and is very hard wearing. After having just one to many a problem with our rather clapped out Peugeot 205 we decided that now was the time to buy that new car we'd been saving up for. When it comes to cars, my partner Shaun and I don't always agree. Although the car would mainly be for his use and the end decision was ultimately his, he wanted my approval before he bought. The 2000 Hyundai Coupe is a very cool car - and perfect for younger drivers because of the low insurance rating - the basic 1.6 is just a group 9 (Although if you're young it's all relative with this class of car!) The looks of the car are one it it's greatest assets - I almost always get looks when I'm driving down the street (and I doubt that's because of who's driving!)
