I bought a silver 2002 Hyundai Coupe 2.0 SE in 2009 after going round car show rooms intent on buying a second hand Ford Fiesta - complete impulse buy, but a great one! The model I had was the newer shape and looked fantastic, once I found out the price and that it was reasonably easy to insure I had to have it. I loved the inside of the car, to this day I don't think I've seen as nice an inside in any other car. The great thing about this car is that you feel like a million dollars driving it, but thankfully don't have to fork out that much (relatively) to own one. I have had the 1.6 Coupe for the lasttwo years from new and overall am very impressed. The car came with a 5yr warranty- although certain conditions do need to be met. Overall Hyundai have provided good customer service levels. Disappointed that the anti-corrosion was made void by a very small paint scratch on the passenger door. Although I am no expert I think the drive and handling is good. Seats are comfortable in the front- although yopu will feel the potholes if you are use to softer suspension. The 2000 Hyundai Coupe is a very cool car - and perfect for younger drivers because of the low insurance rating - the basic 1.6 is just a group 9 (Although if you're young it's all relative with this class of car!) The looks of the car are one it it's greatest assets - I almost always get looks when I'm driving down the street (and I doubt that's because of who's driving!)
