      Very helpful

Well ive had my XKR convertible for 2 years and done over 70,000 mile in it, (anyone want to buy a high mileage moter and help finance my next XKR ?) the car has had 2 minor faults in that time, 1st the active cruise control started to play about fixed by the dealer under warrenty no problem, next it developed a fault in the metering system wich was just a loose fitting again fixed with no problems by the dealer. (dealers have given 100% perfect service) the car drives like floating on air even at very high speeds, when passing a high speed train in italy she who must be obayed asked why the train was going slow, we were doing about 150mph and she didnt realise the electronic systems are just perfect and so easily laid out for use. comfort is unbeatable. what can i say about the noise when you wind her up, normaly you dont hear any noise from the engine, select sport mode and floor it and the most wonderfull turbine like noise comes from the bonnet. in sport (warp speed) mode the car just seems to push you back into the seat and hold you there till you hit the speed limiter at 155mph, this can be defeted by using the box in manual and holding 4th till the red line giving around 165 before the limiter kicks in. the worlds ulimate grand tourer, it does all this and has a good sized boot for a few suitcases. Roof down at over 100mph its a bit windy but if you lean into the windscreen area still possible to light a cigarette with a disposable lighter so not too bad. Faults. not much really, its a bit long so its more of an A road blaster, a bit slow in tight twisty sections and i was given a fair sorting by a porche turbo through a very twisty bit of road, he looked a bit peeved as i passed him later though. all in all unbeatable, would i buy another, oh yes just as soon as Ive saved the necessary. Oh if your serious you might want to look at prices in Europe, much friendlier, got mine in southern Belgium
