Advantages: Handles well, very fast for a jeep

Disadvantages: Costly repairs, heavy fuel consumption

I have had this car a while now and to be honest it served me really well. It has got all the toys such as power steering, electric windows, air con, cruise, power seats etc. It is very fast for a jeep and handles well on and off road and because it's got automatic transmission it seems to just glide along effortlessly. Reliability wise, it hasn't given me many problems as I thought it would. These Cherokee classic facelift (1997-2001) models are becoming rare, so spares usually need to be acquired from the main dealership-believe me that's not cheap! As far as comfort goes, make sure you go for the ruffled leather option. I would recommend the vehicle, however, with fuel prices rising again don't expect more than 15 MPG, and that's a conservative estimate! Prices are really coming down to buy so you get a lot for your money.

Summary: You get alot for your money, although parts are becoming very rare.
