Well I have owned my Kia Picanto now for 2 whole months! After running my Ford KA into the ground it really was time for a change, I opted for the exellent government scrappage scheme and off to the Kia garage we went. Eneded up choosing the metallic silver and I have to say, everyone comments on the glittering paintwork as it really is a lovely ... Read the complete review

Kia Picanto The Kia Picanto is a lovley stylish small car. I have a pale blue 1 litre, petrol, 5dr Kia Picanto and I love it. I had been searching for a new car that was cheap to buy, cheap to run, looks good and was small with 5drs. I didnt hold out much hope. I found a Kia Picanto on a major car ... 1.0gs picanto. the fuel mpg is very questionable, i was exspecting around 55mpg and i am getting a poor 38mpg, which is why i am not a happy girl, i brought the car because of the claimed MPG. i also have a rusty petrol cap lever and bolt on my drivers seat that are having to be replaced, all on a new car.
rusty spots on my rear bumper, that sales assured me wasnt rust as plastic doesnt rust. however they failed to clean the car before i took ownership and the mark's remain,as do the mark's on the boot which i never noticed befor, the boot is metal.
the ride is bumpy, you feel every pot hole in the road, the breaks are fierce i have nearly sent my passangers through the windscreen, and the ocassional smell of petrol comes into the cab on start up, cheers kia!

First, that grille. Perhaps Kia had to do something to stop their Picanto looking exactly like a Ford Fiesta up front but frankly it hasn't grown on me and those who've seen my car agree unanimously that it spoils the car's appearance. Second, lets explode that fuel economy myth. Kia's own figures suggest that Picanto owners can expect 50mpg - 60 ... Read the complete review

I Have recently bought a Picanto SE Glamour for the wife, previously she had a little 3 door 206 which was ok, but I never felt at home in it when i borrowed it to pop down the shops. When we looked at the car in the showroom, I was amazed at how much space there is inside such a small car. From inside you would think it was a much larger ... Read the complete review

I began writing this review twice but with no sucess so I've handed the keyboard over to my bf who remembers in much more detail.......enjoy! After collecting our bags from the carousel at Belfast Airport, we went to collect our 'compact' hire car from Budget, compact because that's all you're allowed to hire at 23. ...
