The Kia Sportage, well what can I say ? This vehicle has the grunt of a Range Rover but at a very affordable price! I have had this vehicle for 18 months and put it through all sorts of terrains, Sea, Rivers, Sand , Mud and normal Condtions. The Sportage handled all situations with guts and ease. Being a sports boat owner I use my Kia to tow the boat taking it from county to county, country to country and again in all situation the Kia pulls as if there is nothing there. The Kia's petrol consumption is good in all environments whether round town, or long distance, the Kia always gives you 265 miles per tank regardless. Being aimed at the consumer who ... Our family recently purchased a kia sportage this year. And we have found this to be the best buy for any 4wd vehicle there is. If you look in shops for a cheaper good standard 4wd car it will be hard to find. Engine This car, as all sportages comes with a 2.0 litre engine which is built to cope with the toughest of terranes and gives plenty of power and thrust when needed. However only reaches a top speed of around 105mph. It is also a thirsty beast covering around 25mpg on average roads. INTERIOR With our sportage we bought leather seats which are extremely comfortable, we got these as we have a dog which does tend to make seats dirty, but ... Read the complete review

Not exactly the most common of vehicle manufacturers seen on the roads in the uk. However on a recent trip to the states we booked a hire car and it turned out to be a kia sportage automatic. The hire price was the same as any standard car but it was so much nicer being that bit higher up. Luckily the fuel in the states is really cheap, the sportage was ever thirsty, you just couldn’t afford to run it in the uk. That said however I think or at least I hope that our particular sportage my have needed a good service. As I mentioned before it was an automatic problem was it seemed as though the engine would drop out before it ... Read the complete review

The Sportage was in general a pleasure to drive. It handled well off-road and on-road though admittedly i saw little bad terrain in this vehicle. Mine was a shiny black 2001 model, which was spacious, comfortable to drive and generally did its job well. It never failed to start, the heater was excellent in winter and i enojoyed the vehicle. Bad points, however, were the build quality, which I suppose is to be expected when you think of the price compare to other 4x4 manufacturers- on the motorway with the windows down they positiveky rattled in their fittings and the underside of the car always had a rattle that was always supposedly fixed and then came back ...
