Kia Mentor II in general:
... am the proud owner of a Kia Mentor and i would rate the car as one of the best cars I have driven. The car is very reliable and is a real pleasure to drive..It has fantastic, and surprising acceleration and can outrun many other cars in the same price bracket. Kia Pride 64 3-doors ... have had two Kia's and can't complain about either of them. They never let me down and did the job they were bought for, that is, to transport a family about all their daily routines and to be a general workhorse with economy. Had the first for about two years and the second one about 18 month. Why did I change? I needed a four door version because three doors is no fun getting grandson's baby car seat in and out. When it came to change I was offered a good part exchange for another Kia but I was a little concerned that the shape and style of the Kia Pride was somewhat dated. Kia Pride 64 3-doors ... purchased a Kia Pride as my first brand new car as it was the cheapest on the market with a brand name that was tainted by a joke image, I was delighted with my purchase which went to to provide five years of trouble free motoring. Passengers never failed to be amazed at the interior room and the fact it was available new for the prices of a used fiesta or micra. The economy was excellent though relative to purchase price servicing seemed costly and my local dealer who also held a Mazda franchise treated me poorly, in my opinion because it was the cheapest car they sold. Kia Sportage Base 4WD 4-Door ... exactly the most common of vehicle manufacturers seen on the roads in the uk. However on a recent trip to the states we booked a hire car and it turned out to be a kia sportage automatic. The hire price was the same as any standard car but it was so much nicer being that bit higher up. Luckily the fuel in the states is really cheap, the sportage was ever thirsty, you just couldn’t afford to run it in the uk. That said however I think or at least I hope that our particular sportage my have needed a good service.
