Advantages: I am sorry trying hard to find any

Disadvantages: too many wallowing being just one.

Well what can I say we were loaned a Discovery not just any discovery a brand new Discovery 2 HLS.
This was because we had a small accident in our beloved Range Rover so it was not that we were not used to driving such a large vehicle that I write this particular review.

I have to say I hated the whole experience, it was to say the least with a very glad heart when we had to give it back.
Where to start.?

The outside looked the part nice shiney new reasonably good looking for the squarish shape.
The inside well that was something else entirely, Plastic dashboard and fittings vinyl everywhere with bits of leather in some places. Leather seats which were hard to keep clean being cream, in fact the whole enterior was cream. In my view totally the wrong colour for a 4 by 4.
The Dashboard had more dials and knobs than a spacestation and looked as if it could have driven itself if given the chance it really reminded me of KIT the car from Hasslehoffs tele program.
This car had loads of space to be fair though and ample airbags which probably was just as well as it wallowed on the road like a flailing hippo. It was hard to manouver and I felt truely unsafe in it.
It had Power assistance and the usual airbrakes and all the finery imaginable but I really do not think it would have done the business off road had it needed to go that way. It was bad enough trundleing up our small country lanes.
No I am sorry Disco Lovers but you can keep this model give me a rickety Range Rover any day beats it hands down.
Fuel consumtion aside as it did do better than our range rover but bairly.
Insurance and tax could be extremely high so you would need to shop around for the best deals.

Summary: I think this one for us is a miss
