Not only does the ride seem to have become stiffer with the car tending to crash through potholes and over ridges more violently, but there is lots of tyre roar. While the unaltered steering could do with more feel, the car feels tighter on twisty roads. The rear-drive 300 was a good-handling car, but it did suffer from body roll. Now it stays flat and crisp.
