Advantages: Superb Looks, Superb Interior, Superb Drive

Disadvantages: Cost, Leg Room

I've just recently bought a Lotus Elise 1.8 and my word, what can I say?

Its Fantastic!

The roar of the engine is breathtaking and the immense RPM rate is amazing.
I just love to drive up to a nightclub in the car, revving the engine, and having everybody look in wonder.

The interior is beautiful craftmanship and is very comfortable - apart from the lack of leg room! But this is a small price to pay for such a good car.

The fact that the seats are low to the ground gives the car a fantastic centre of gravity so you can feel the speed you are driving.

The fact that it is a convertible is a definite advantage as if you havent driven along on a hot summers day with the top down and the wind in your face, you haven't lived!

Although, another disadvantage of the car, is it's price. With it being between £12,500 and £18,000 you have to save your pocket money up a bit! Either that or take out a loan like I did.
But this amount of money is well worth the brilliance of this fantastic car.
I recommend it to all - except kids who cant drive!

Hmm, unreliable K series engine, poor, leaky roof... need I go on? Your review sounds biased, just thought that I would even it up. The car is superb to drive, I admit - I nearly s**t myself when I took one for a test drive, but just like women, they are a pain in the a**e to live with!

Yeh lots more detail. And you won't think it so fantastic when you have to pay the reapir bills, particularly fopr the susepct suspension.

All that glitters ...

Some actual details about the car would be good, such as performance figures, equipment details (such as radio, air con, PAS, alarm, etc.) Well written just not enough details.
