The Lotus Exige was produced as the race version of the Elise. Manufactured at the Lotus factory in Norfolk, it is, as with all Lotus', designed for people who want a good driving experience. Although this car is technically my husbands (bah humbug) I am allowed the occasional drive! However, before I could drive it, I had to have a driving session on the track at Lotus to get used to handling the car, as it was nothing like I had ever driven before! Grrrr is really the only way to describe this car! The lotus Exige is the sister car to the Elise and exceeds all its sisters reputations. The main downside is the lack of the open roof, but this is easily made up for by the fact that its performance is greatly increased. To look at this car is lovely, the air vents and the rear spoiler give it a mean look, and it means business! The interior is also fab, with the option of leather upholstery, CD player and all the usual extras you would expect. The car drives like a dream, my only complaint would be its slight oversteer and i ahve learned from experience that its best not to drive this car ...
