Advantages: Nice styling & much of the Ford component trims disguised further with spun alloy

Disadvantages: Roof leaks - Engine blows up - trim not well fitted due to factory run down

unfortunately built when the factory was about to close & subsequently the finish was poor when compared against the std Mantis Cars with stock 4.6 engine. the roll bar was a nice idea had it been thought through and the roof was designed to leak , taking its small fitting style from the Mantaray.
The roof was short off the side windows and water ingress whilst in motion came along the side windows and ran in through the rear of the glass
Engines tend to blow up on the supercharge car which despite intercoolers was not much of an improvement on the factory upgrade option of a supercharger on early cars - suffered detonation & disaster!

Summary: Better with a looked after pre 99 std Mantis
