Okay, in outright power stakes, the latest TVR's will win hands down, but this is a classy car with a lot more heritage. The very fact that the basic layout & design formula hasn't changed for so long throughout the Marcos range delivers a message about it's ability to satisfy it's owners. It puts the power down in a manageable form. You want to wheelspin off every time and increase your shares in Kwik-Fit, go ahead, it'll let you do so. But if you want an almost stately progression through the twisty bits at an unreasonably rapid rate and there's nothing else at this price.
