My wife has owned several Maxda in the past. I bought my first Maxda two years ago with 10000 miles on the clock. It is now three years old with nearly 40000 miles and is going great. It only needs servicing every 9000 miles and has only had new windscreen wipers fitted. Servicing has generally cost less than quoted and Mazda personnel are the best I've known for courtesy, speed and knowledge. The 626 is one of the best cars I've driven. I purchased a 1998 Mazda 626 with 12 miles on the odometer. Now, nearly 60,000 miles later, I have yet to have a single problem with the car, or any of its systems. Sure, Mazda says its first major servicing isn't necessary until the 60,000 mile mark, but I've heard that before. Only this time, at the rate I'm going, it will be 100K miles before this car needs an overhaul. I couldn't be more happy with the serivce and quality of this car.
