... Very good. Handled well on the road, quiet to drive. Fuel consumption Was ok but dare to think what it must cost now with rising petrol prices! Speed With injector engines, it can be very nippy at times. Overtaking on the motorways was fine, it handled this fairly well. Mazda MX-5 1.6i ... here is a review i have been saving!. I bought my 15 year old Mazda MX-5 convertible 6 months ago now, and i have been thinking very hard of what to write here. I decided to start with this... No review of this car can possible be negative, its just positive in every way. My MX-5 is the 1.6i Convertible, i bought it stock and have added a few bits on, but il review it firstly, as it was stock, how easy it was to upgrade, and what it is like now.. I actually travelled 100 miles up to London after bidding for the car on ebay, i thought it was a steal at only £900. Mazda RX7 ... use a Mazda RX7 as an everyday car, commuting to work and for play. ;) I bought it from the Southampton car import dock yards and here is my honest review. Note: Remember I am only talking about the 1992-2001 "FD3S" RX7 as in the picture above! The designer of this RX7 was not happy with the standard of sports cars around at the time. He proposed to Mazda that he wanted to create a REAL sports car designed for just that. The rotary engine was used to keep the bonnet as low as possible as well as for pure power. Mazda MX-3 ... love this car, my boyfriend has owned one for three years and for the last year has been considering selling but like a cherished pet he just can t let it go. I have driven this car and it is quick and fun to drive, handling like a sports car and making you feel like a racing driver. Although the 1.8 V6 Injection engine can consume a lot of petrol round town on a long run it is quite economic and the cost is more than made up for in the fun you can have driving it. The 1.6 versions are a more sedate option although still with the cute sporty looks.
