I'd heard a lot of stories about the Mclaren F1 and like every other car fanatic I'd watched it with awe on the television, but it wasn't until I won the chance to sit helpless in the passenger seat that I fully appreciated the awesome power of this beast of a car. I used to be quite content with the acceleration I recieved from my Vauxhall Astra GTE, but after a ride in the Mclaren my car feels like a bicycle. The speed was just incredible, pinning me back in my seat and filling me with a unique energy, whilst at the same time leaving a nasty stain in my underpants. Of course, a machine like this doesn't come without a hefty price tag, and at a cost of about £500,000 I won't be able to afford one until I'm 90, and that's only providing that I don't eat and manage to avoid the taxman for the rest of my life. If the money was available I would buy the car without a second thought because it not only comes with an unmatched speed, but also an unparalleled beauty. It was over four months ago that I rode the car but I still boast about my experience and I still feel inadequate when I'm ragging my car along the motorway at 140 mph. The bottom line is if you can afford one, then hurry up and buy one (and buy me one too please).
