Advantages: Comfortable, economical, reliable, no road boom, good looks, family car.

Disadvantages: Hard Suspension for its class

I bought the Mitsubishi Carisma Equippe in 2004. Since then I have found it to be an extremely safe, reliable and well-equipped car. Its road handling is truly excellent at ALL speeds, and its performance is exceptional. For a 1.6 litre petrol engine, I found it to have above average gettaway power than most others in its class. Its five door hatchback look, coupled with its good boot space make it a very good family car.
Other features include twin air-bags, air-conditioned controlled cabin, four speaker CD/Radio system front electric windows, comfortable driving seat and good visibility throughout. This, for me, makes it one of the BEST cars I have ever owned in this price range, and believe me when I tell you I am VERY critical.
I have never had to use the 3 year breakdown service afforded by Mitsubishi, and I have never even had to change a bulb.
This is truly an excellent car. I just hope that its new counterpart (the Mitsubishi Lancer) is half as good.
