Any Evo is an amazing car to drive, the acceleration is mind blowing and if speed is your thing there is very little in real world driving that would be able to live with it on normal roads. They are not the most comfortable car as they are very stiffly sprung but its dynamic ability will leave you so amazed you'll live with being bounced about a bit. Faults? Well they require servicing every 4500 miles and fuel consumption is depress...more

Premium Review Mitsubishi Evo VI: A true road going rally car (255 words)

Rating:

Before I start my review can I just add that I am the owner of a later generation of Lancer Evolution, namely an Evolution IX. The Evo VI is quite possibly the most famous of Mitsubishi's road going rally weapons, made immortal by the legendary Tommi Makinen who in Lancer Evo's won 4 consecitive World Rallying titles. The Evo VI is an awesome car officially producing 270+bhp they can be tuned to figures well in excess of this if you want to go down the tuning route. Rating:

This car is superb for performance, and handles like a dream. It has 10000 rpm and 343 hp behind it to make this car very powerful in the acceleration department. This is not my favourite feature of the car however, it is the yaw control system that does it for me. This gives the car excellent traction and control on the road and has a built in navigational system. Overall this car is an extremely good buy for £65,000. ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Mitsubishi Evo VI: the evo has landed (134 words)

Rating:

Driving many high performance road cars can be a battle between you and your motor, but this 280bhp beast works with you, responds excellently and performs well enough to the thrill the most hardened thrillseekers. Mitsubishi have created something scary - in a fun sort of way. Fast once within the turbo band (over 3,000 rpm). Understeers a lot in slow corners, and doesn't give the driver the confidence to drive flat out. Often frustrating to drive given its "on" "off" turbo. Made for smooth tarmaced roads, doesn't feel controlled over typical UK country roads warning!! If your under 25, be ...  Read the complete review

Its always the way, whenever you here a word that you never previously knew, you for somereason hear the same word in conversation or on tele the same day. The sames with cloths, you see something you like in a maggy and the next minute someone is wearing it down the highstreet. Well the same happened to me, i recently read an article in 'FHM'about the new member of the Evo Family. The Evo VII, which is even sexier and beasty than its predecesors. Its just pure red meat... a Man's dream. 0-60 4.5 seconds... top speed 155mph... its a good as a Porsche except this car has a price tag of ONLY £30,000. superb. this car was built to begin with to be a rally winner ...  Read the complete review
