... shelf is flimsy and a roller mechanism which has been known to spring back on occasions. a feature i am not too fond of. I am rating it a 7 for space because i have long legs and like plenty of room when driving and the model of the car affords enough leg room in the rear when my legs are extended to drive. Has a glove box,and a storage tray under the passenger seat
Engine 7/10 awarded for reliability and economy

This review is for the Mitsubishi space star 1.6 equipe which is slightly more powerful than the 1.3. The misubishi space star has been seriously overlooked and under rated as part of the mitsubishi fleet. I purchased mine being a 6 month only ex demo vehicle at a reasonabe price of £7000. Space 7/10 Being named the space star you automatically assume it has the makings of a people carrier but you would be mistaken, similar in shape and has plenty of leg room but only 5 seats with little versitility in creating space by lowering the back seat.
