... sounded like a tractor to start though but was really really efficient. Had the diesel for 4 years, did over 100,000 miles and part exed it, was ready for a new car but if I had needed to keep it, it would have just kept going and going. Cheap to service, biggest expense was tyres - looking at around £100 a corner so not all that cheap! Have had 2 Almera Sport+ and have been really happy with both. First was petrol, second was diesel. Have to say I preferred the petrol as obviously was a bit quicker, handled well and had a comfortable and spacious interior. The diesel had more grunt, sounded like a tractor to start though but was really really efficient. Had the diesel for 4 years, did over 100,000 miles and part exed it, was ready for a new car but if I had needed to keep it, it would have just kept going and going.
