I'm not exactly small, 6ft and 17 stone, but I find the micra surprisingly comfortable. We bought the Micra auto four months ago as a second car, with both my wife and I going to different universities it worked out cheaper than public transport. On the occaison I get to drive it, it feels very secure on road holding, loads of power under the bonnet when needed, and the boot space is a bit tardis like - be amazed exactly ho much you can get in it. A friend of ours has put a single buggy into the boot along with six bags of Sainsbury's best. The fuel economy is average, 1.3ltr engines are fuel hungry when pushed. The auto is CVT (constant variable transmission) so no jerking when accelerating. One problem with the CVT is that you do need to use the hand brake, unusual in an auto. The stereo is built into the dash so it makes it diffecult for thieves. Has alarm and central locking as standard. The finish is average, the interior a little sparse. Parking and turning circles are very good. Due to depreciation of all seconhand cars go for the best spek and the cheapest - remember service history and ownership checks.
