Advantages: very reliable, economical , good petrol consumption

Disadvantages: parts if nissan only very expensive

I have a M reg Primera and they are very very reliable. I have had this car for over four years and I do roughly 20000 miles a year. Therefore, the millege is creeping up rather fast, but apart from the normal things the car has run on. As I was a student when I got this car i needed one which was economical and the Primera has proved to be a shrewed buy, as I get over 450 miles for a tank of petrol roughy £40 worth. I service it once a year and the most I need done is new brakes. However, if anything does go wrong such as a distributer which mine did Nissan put different models of distributors on their cars therefore finding the right one is a serious hassle, and dont even think about buying one from a dealer as it costs in excess of £300.
However, there are spare parts available easily so most times a cheaper part can be found. I have a LX model which means for its age it has lots of extras such as ABS, fuel injection, CAT, headrests in back, full electric windows and so on. The body of primeras tend to last as long as they are well looked after.
The cars are roomy and comfy for long drives making them suitable for a family (the boot is big enough for two german shepherds as well)
These cars are very reliable and are a good choice for anybody who wants a economical car that will run and run.
They do not go on sale very often due to their popularity also owners tend to stick them as they are such a good car. As for myself my nissan has plenty of life left init and even though its around the clock I would not consider replacing it.
In recent surverys by motor associations it received 98 out of 100 for reliability and which rates it very highly.
One thing potential buyers should consider is the engine size mine is a 1.6 but as the car is solid a 1.8 engine would be more suitable so make sure the engine has not been knackered.

Nice op but a little more detail would make it vu, and some thought regarding paragraph spacing would make it easier to read

Good op.

Can I suggest that you space out the paragraphs, to make it easier to read ?

A much under-rated car I understand. Hope that it continues to run well
