I have just got a 09 plate Nissan Qashqai Visia 1.6 petrol engine. I thought about purchasing but decided to lease instead - opting for a 3 year lease deal which also includes the annual car tax for the duration of the lease. There is no balloon payment at the end and I simply hand the car back to the lease company. I have always driven small cars (Clio, Fiesta, C3 etc) but wanted a bigger family car. The lease company suggested the Qashqai and at first I hesitated because it seemed so much bigger to what I had been used to. It took a little while to get used to size wise but it drives like a small car. However, now that I have driven it I think it's ... Read the complete review

Are you sitting comfortably, as this may be a long review? In early 2008 I found out I was expecting for the second time. With us already having the 1 boy, and a pretty large mutt, my tiny 3dr Peugeot 206 started to look impractical - so with the imminent arrival of child number 2, I started to look around for a new car. My requirements were something small enough for me to manage (I previously wrote off my husband's 4x4 ) whilst being roomy enough inside to fit a family of four with all baggage, buggies and the general rubbish that we seem to drag around with us. So we visited some of the main car dealers - Ford, Peugeot, Vauxhall but I couldn't ... Read the complete review

I have been driving my Qaqshqai since April o8 it is the Acenta model. It is a company car and I have done 18000 miles with no problems. Well ok one major problem but more of that later. The car is an excellent drive both around town and on the motorway. I average about 44 mpg on motorway and 40 around town . When driving sensibly I achieve a lot higher. The Qashqai is very roomy and looks a big car but drives like one much smaller. It comes with loads of equipment 6 disc CD player folding mirrors air con very useful last few weeks split ventilation trip meters auto lights auto windscreen to name but a ... My husband and I are currently deciding which car to buy to replace his beloved Mini Cooper as we are planning to start a family soon and need a car which is better suited to a family's needs. We have test-driven numerous cars and I have a lot to say about all of them. I will be focussing mainly on telling you about the features and specifications that I am looking for in a family car i.e. space, comfort and the little added luxuries which make life a bit easier. This review is about the attractive Nissan Qashqai. Both my husband and I found this small SUV to be very comfortable to drive, and an added bonus is that you have the option of buying a 2WD ...
