This is our second terrano that we have bought - and as a cheap tow-vehicle that can carry seven people they are hard to beat (we bought ours new for £16k). However - it isn't a refined easy vehicle to drive so don't expect discovery refinement. The good bits: Seven Seats - not easiest to get into - and the rear set are really only kiddie seats - but still - they are OK - and if you have a drunken gang of mates you suddenly find they fit in! My dad bought this car a few weeks ago because he was looking for a more practical mode of transport than his Nissan 200sx, because we have a fairly large family he decided to buy big. He wanted a 4x4 with many seats so his choices were between: The Nissan Terrano II, Land Rovers, the Ford Maverick, and a few others. His final decision was the Nissan because it is more attractive than the Land Rovers and its fuel consumption is considerably lower than the Ford, for is specification it is also a lot lower in price compared to its rivals.
