Advantages: Practical, Attractive, Price
Disadvantages: see review
My dad bought this car a few weeks ago because he was looking for a more practical mode of transport than his Nissan 200sx, because we have a fairly large family he decided to buy big. He wanted a 4x4 with many seats so his choices were between: The Nissan Terrano II, Land Rovers, the Ford Maverick, and a few others. His final decision was the Nissan because it is more attractive than the Land Rovers and its fuel consumption is considerably lower than the Ford, for is specification it is also a lot lower in price compared to its rivals. Other advantages include multiple positioning of the seats, all together it has 7 seats, 2 in the front, 3 in the middle and 2 more at the back, to get into the back seats you need to fld forward the middle seats - which is done with ease. The back 2 seats can be folded forward to give you more space in the rear of the car for baggage or luggage. The back door of it opens out sideways for easy access, the back door has the spare wheel attached. The 4 wheel drive is easily used because there are two gear sticks, and you just decide which one to choose, although it is recommended that you only use the 4x4 when needed because it consumes the fuel at a much faster rate for obvious reasons. It has many advantages which mainly include: looks, price, performance, size and practicality. But it also has one disadvantage - because it is quite high off the ground you cant feel the speed as much so you need to pay more attention to the speed on the dashboard. In conclusion, I think it is a great choice, as a passenger it is very comfortable wherever you are sat, and if you have the money then is it well worth viewing, it has many additional features, so if you need anything it will have it.

klik - 02/03/06 I'm interested in one of these and there wasn't enough detail. I think that 3rd party ops are very dodgy as your opinion seems to change when you actually have to buy, insure and fill a car. You didn't say whether petrol or diesel, fuel consumption, road noise, off road performance, pulling power, seven seat comfort, does it take 7 adults or can only children be comfortable in the back. A review could make this op worthwhile. Gaz |
