106 Great little car (Peugeot 106 Independence)

I brought myself a brand new peugot 106 independance back in 2000. I was so excited it would be my first brand new car and it was all mine. I went to the garage and saw it on the forecourt and thought that was the one I wanted.

It came as a 3 door hatch back. 1124cc, 1.1 engine so it was cheap to tax and put petrol in, might not be the fastest of cars but would get me from a to b. I didnt opt for any of the extras on the car, a number of things came as standard such as colour coded bumpers, stereo and a choice of interiour fabrics. I couldnt wait for it to arrive.

I still have the car now and it is still in great condition 8 years later. No rust on the car, the only thing I have ever had to replace is the breaks which I would have expected to do with any car. I have never had any major problems. Overall I think it it a great value car.
