Well, I don't know much about cars nor do I have another car to compare it to but I'll do my best!!!

I bought my little 106 a year ago, my first car and can remember feeling extremely proud.

Looks
A small and simple car, it's not exactly sporty and eye-catching but it's not a bad looking car either. It's pretty much normal and people tend to walk past it without even paying the slightest bit attention. The interior is also pretty standard with a choice of different patterns inside. The steering wheel/gearstick/pedals etc. are all pretty plain, nothing special there.

Cost
Mine is a 2001 model which I bought privately for less than £1000.00 (2008). It's value has decreased a little since I bought it as I've added quite a bit of mileage.

Reliability
Before buying, I took the car to a mechanic who told me the 106 is a reliable little car and as it had been well looked after I should expect it to still be going strong at 10years+ . Never had any problems with it and I don't expect any anytime soon! I did get the gear linkage replaced a few months ago as it was becoming slack and the mechanic did tell me that this part is very well known for becoming worn and needing replaced at 5-10years.

Others
It doesn't have any extras, it's basically just a car and nothing else. No electric windows, air con etc. but if you're happy enough with a nice comfortable, cheap and reliable car for taking you for A to B then I'd definately recommend!

Summary: Would recommend it to anyone looking for a first-time/budget car who isn't too bothered about extras
