For years I wanted a 106 quicksilver, and this was just a dream until 3 days ago. Just bought an X reg 106 Quicksilver and it has not disapointed me. Took a bit of getting used to as the clutch is a bit stiffer than my old punto, but waw, its amazing!! Its quick, smooth, georgious, comfy, practicle, all at the same time. Its bog standard, but that included alloys, arches, front bumber etc anyway. It drives like a dream and you feel like your in a dream until you wake up...when stepping out of it! But then you turn round and stare the dream in the face and it's oh so real. I've never thought I could love a car so much, ... Read the complete review

I drive a Peugeot 106 Quiksilver and have done for seven months now. I love it! The 1.4 engine is very responsive and yet is still incredibly efficient! Let's start with the girly stuff. The colour is gorgeous, platinum silver, so it doesn't look grey and doesn't really show the dirt. The interior is very smart and black, there are no acres of grey plastic in this little car. The Quiksilver badge is everywhere but not obtrusively so. The seats are very comfortable, almost sporty. There is a surprising amount of leg room everywhere and does seat four fairly comfortably. (That's four over 5' 5"). I'm 5' 10" and have no ... Read the complete review

I own this car! I love this car! I have a limted edition Quiksilver that is to say it has more features than the standard Quiksilver. The 106 is the best mini car on the market and the prices are not too expensive. If you can afford a little bit more I would seriously recommended a Quiksilver. The 1.4i engine is quick and ecconomical. The colour is great. The ride is smooth. With PAS, Electric windows, Sunroof, CD Player, Alloy Wheels, oodles of safety features,Quiksilver seats and badges as standard makes for a great car. The electric window buttons are positioned between the two front seats. If the passenger is operating a button at the time of gear change there ... Read the complete review

I first got into Peugeots in Summer 1999, when I had a Zest as a hire car. I was happy when my brother purchased a peugeot 106 Quiksilver from new in October 1999, with the silver gear knob, White dials, hydraulic bonnet openings and CD player as standard. July 2002 he got a Peugeot 206cc and I got the Quiksilver. I must admit I am a girl racer and have made some alterations but nothing to the bodywork as that is fine and compliments my modifications perfectly. I have changed the registration plates, lowered the car, the standard back box has been replaced by a custom made one, and an induction kit replaces the air filter and I have had to replace ... Peugeot first started this car as a limited edition, because of its success they made it into full production. be warned though earlier models have no where near the specification of the later ones, only the later ones have the cd player, alloy wheels etc. Lets face it a 1.4 is never going to challenge a ferrari but it will beat all those 1.1 novas etc, and lets face it who can get insurance or even afford a ferrari. The 106 is not the cheapest of all the small cars but then most small cars are not as well sepicified as the 106 especially the quiksilver, I would deffinately recommend getting a quiksilver. If like me you are a young male expect ... Read the complete review
