Advantages: Stylish, Sporty, Fairly roomy

Disadvantages: Fog lights? wot fog lights!, wee plastic bit above left leg, that apart from that it's perfect!

For years I wanted a 106 quicksilver, and this was just a dream until 3 days ago.

Just bought an X reg 106 Quicksilver and it has not disapointed me. Took a bit of getting used to as the clutch is a bit stiffer than my old punto, but waw, its amazing!!

Its quick, smooth, georgious, comfy, practicle, all at the same time.

Its bog standard, but that included alloys, arches, front bumber etc anyway.

It drives like a dream and you feel like your in a dream until you wake up...when stepping out of it! But then you turn round and stare the dream in the face and it's oh so real.

I've never thought I could love a car so much, but I'm 18, its my 3rd car and i want to keep it forever!

The only problem ive found so far is that my left lef hits off the plastic a bit, but at least it gives you the huddled up sporty drive feel, and also the fog lights...whats happening there?

The rear ones have a switch to turn on, thats fine. But the front.....where is the button? It's not there, what a waste. They only cum on with your feel beams, and thats not much use, even if you are driving in fog and using them probably u wouldnt use your feel beams anyway, but I cant even turn them on with my dipped headlights to make the car look even cooler!

Next stage is to buy every little silver gadget and accessory i can find, put 15" alloys on it, lower it 30mm (as this is fine without even having to buy any new parts) and then take it from there.

Great wee car, and I would recommend it, but I don't want everyone to get one and ruin my thunder!
