Crowned Review THE DRIVE OF MY LIFE! (1209 words)

When I decided to get a new car, I knew it had to be a Peugeot. I finally bought one and part exchanged my old Volkswagen Polo (my first ever banger) and I was so pleased with the result. It was an 'L' registration, 1.4L XT and cost me only £2600 part exchange. There are so many positive things about my 106 (which over-shadow the negative) ...  Read the complete review

The XT is quite a smart little version - remote central locking, body-colour bumpers, tinted glass, 4-speaker stereo, split rear seats. The engine was the carburettor type used in the very first 106's. It was quickly replaced in 93 (I think) by the injection models. ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Peugeot 106 XT: 106 XS - Nearly a classic (357 words)
by - written on 26/02/01 (Very useful, 2639 readings)
Rating:

205 GTi it's not, but the 106 XS is sure to become a classic. It has quite a torquey 1360cc SPFi engine and 5 spoke alloys shod in 165/60 baby Pirelli P2000s which make it look as cute as a terrier! Unfortunately, this car is not about outright speed and you have to buy the XSi model for that (with 33% more power), but the handling ...  Read the complete review
