Advantages: small, low tax/petrol, 5door, ipod connection
Disadvantages: no glovebox as standard, not so attractive interior
I bought this car 2nd hand a year and a half ago and have had no issues with it (touch wood). It has only recently had its first MOT and passed :).
I have the 5 door. Have had a lot of comments from people saying about how cute it looks. No one realises its 5dr as its so small. The back doors come half way over the rear tyre.
I live near a city so usually just use for driving to uni and work. It is a great little run around and is ideal for parking as it is so small. I have taken it on short motorway journeys (an hour or so) but don't think I'd like to do much more in it. You can get to about 90 mph (not that I've ever driven over the speed limit ;)) and there is some rather big vibrations.
Tax for the year is £35. And petrol for a full tank is £35ish.
The boot although looks small can fit in enough for me. A weekly shop from tesco as well as the usual stuff petrol can etc. It's definetly ideal for a young adult (yes thats me :)) driving from a to b with a few friends in the car. Definetly no room for a family - pram etc. But I guess it's not intended for that sort of use.
The interior is ok. Fits its purpose I guess but not a lot has been spent on making it look pretty. There is no glove compartment weird I know. Also there is no rev counter. These were extras that the original owner didn't request and I haven't quite got round to doing myself. One thing I do like on inside is the connection for my ipod. This is great as saves you taking all your cds into the car.
Not quite sure what I can add. Great run around, if you can afford to spend more then I'd go for something like a mini or fiat 500 but for the price it's good.
Summary: great little run around.
