Advantages: quick, cheap, looks, hadling

Disadvantages: thirsty but who cares? really....

I bought my peugeot 205 xs from a nice man in birmingham, its completely original which is best for an xs because it looks great as it is and its in near showroom condition. Mines black and it looks the business. For a 1.4 (1360cc) its really quick, im 18 and to have the quickest car in college by a long way is a good feeling, insurance is reasonable too, mines £1100 fully comp. iv had 115mph out of it and 0-60 in around 9.3. not far behind a 1.6 gti. i strongly recommend the xs for anyone who cant quite afford the gti's, its still quick, sounds great at nearly 7000rpm and handles like a dream, just make sure u have good tyres on it because i nearly ended up in a tree while goin 15mph. This was great fun though. I dont know what the other guy was sayin about poor brakes, mine are pretty good, just like any other hatchback. In terms of fuel they are quite thirsty but this hasnt put me off. Oh and in terms of reliability this car hasnt missed a beat. im completely hooked on my 205.
