Advantages: excellent looker, peformer
Disadvantages: none
206GTI My friends dad has just been given a Peugeot 206 gti as a company car, and it's just awesome. It looks really classy than the 306 xsi, even a bit more sporty. When we went for a drive in it, it was so smooth over the bumps and round the corners equally as good. It accelerates really quickly and on the motorway it's just brilliant. Wow...the buzz you get. It makes you feel rather special, you know that you have a car that looks just as good as it drives. Apparently, the steering is brilliant you can steer at ease even around the tightest of corners. Driving down a smooth country lane is excellent but when you come up to road bumps you do feel the bumps somewhat. It comes with all the standard things of the Peugeot cars; six Cd changer Air conditioning Automatic windscreen wipers Safety locks etc You can't even tell its a convertible, its a pity the weather hasn't been that good because it looks great with the hood off. On 'Top Gear' it was calculated it takes 22 seconds to take the hood off, which isn't that bad. My mates dad's car is blue, compared to our 306xsi cherry red, it does look better. There are other colours if you don't like the dazzling blue. It costs about £16,000 and if I had the money I would buy it. Definitely a summer car which will turn heads with or without the roof. I love Peugeot cars, and this one seems to be a top car.

- 03/11/00 It sounds like a nice car, but maybe when it's a year old and 4 thousand cheaper. |
