Advantages: Great Looks, Excellent Perfomance, espeacially the GTi
Disadvantages: Dash Board
Mechanically, I haven't had any problems so far with the 206 which I supposeis the most important thing. However, I'd say that the build quality of the interior is pretty awful. Ihad a 306 XSi before I got the 206, and it had was very well built indeed. The interior did not rattle at all, even over bad road surfaces. While the interior on the 206 looks far better, I find it is plagued by bad design and shoddy workmanship. Fortunately, with some perseverence I've been able to fix the rattles. The front seats have both given me problems. The back adjustor on the passenger seat broke, so that you couldn't adjust the angle of the seat back. It required a new seat frame which took two weeks to order. Both seats also required new runners because the seats did not return to their original position after collapsing them (to let people out the back). According to the dealer, they have had many problems with the seat runners on 206s and have replaced a lot.
