I have owned a Peugeot 206, 1.4 for a few months now and so far have no complaints with it. The car is a 2004 reg but hass remained in great working condition and could be passed off as new once cleaned.
The model is good looking, and relatively sporty looking compared to other hatchbacks of similar engine size. Having owned a ford Ka before this car, a slightly cheaper car, but with far less room in the back and in the boot, which the Peugeot provides. Despite looking very small the boot is big enough for at least two sets of golf clubs, and the back seats are roomy enough for three large people!
The acceleration of the car is fairly brisk considering the small engine size and the clutch and gearbox are reliable and easy to use, however gear changes can be bumpy. The electrics of the car are efficient with good central locking. The stereo is also surprisingly good with quite good bass if your into that, but does become distorted a high volumes.
Comfy and fairly smooth riding the peugeot is an excellent little hatchback, very good for young drivers.

Summary: Efficient little car, quite fast and surprisingly roomy.
