Peugeot really hit the jackpot with its superbly styled 206 range. I own a 1999 LX 1.1 model - although way down in power, its nippy enough and handles like a sports car. For those of you who dont own a 206, and have only seen it from the outside - i assure you that the fantastic styling, smooth contours and modern look are carried on to the interior of the car.
Inside, there is suprisingly a lot of space for a small car - the seats are very comfy - with plenty of room in the back for 3 passengers. The specification of the car is quite good too - with airbag, electric windows, remote central locking and remote control stereo system coming as standard.
The car is a dream to drive. Throw it into a corner at speed and it sticks to the road - like glue. There is virtually no road noise while driving - this is the steadiest car on the road i have ever driven.
I totally recommend this car to anyone who like me - can't afford the millions of pounds insurance costs on a faster car. You will have just as much fun with this.
