I had a 1999 model a couple of years back. It was a good little runner, cheap insurance & tax, couldn't guzzle fuel too much. It had a surprisingly big boot, easily fit buggy in. They're really spacious inside too.
One thing that bugged me was that you could tell it was a girls car. I'd previously had a punto which felt really chunky compared to this, the steering wheel is slimmed down and everything seems designed for smaller hands and feet. My partner ended up with his foot on 2 pedals a few times!
Also everything is slightly to the left. It's like the French couldn't be bothered to shift it over properly so when you're driving you can feel that you're leaning slightly. The styling looks a bit cheap but to be honest it's a cheap car! God value for money especially second hand. Mine was only £800 and lasted a couple of years, can't argue with that.
