Peugeot 206cc-thumbs up to Gallic Flair. (Peugeot 206cc)

Advantages: Good value price, versatility, stunning looks, affordable running costs. Disadvantages: Build quality and materials not the best. I have only had my 206cc a few days so this is a "first impressions" review. It looks absolutely stunning in Flamenco Red and makes a welcome change from all the silver cars I have owned !I should mention that my last car was a Mazda MX5-1840cc and before that a 3 litre turbo-diesel Merc,so I wasn't expecting too much performance from a 1.6 Peugeot engine by comparison. Well I got that wrong!Although only rated at 110 bhp it is strong and lively and looks set to be economical too.The overall build quality of the car could be better(there are squeaks and rattles in abundance) but these can easily be overlooked because of the innovative and fun nature of this little beast.I have found the driving position a touch awkward( I am a six-footer) and will certainly be investing in a wind-blocker soon.Overall I would say that this car looks like being a load of fun and practical too. Vive la differance !! Summary: This has to be a classic in the making.
