I bought my 206cc (1.6 version) in October 2001 and since then I have experienced a lot of niggling faults with it which have really spoilt the car for me.

Don't get me wrong - I love the way it looks and the roof is fantastic but I am really irritated by the way I have to keep taking it back to the dealer all the time because different things keep going wrong.

So far, I've had to have the following fixed:

Rattling doors and windows
Gear box
Electric windows broke
Alarm had to be fully replaced
Engine losing speed, not accelerating smoothly
Cooling system leaks - three times

I'm glad the car has a three year warranty!

Unfortunately, although it looks great, I'm seriously thinking of getting rid of it and getting something more reliable as I'm fed up with going to the garage all the time.

My advice would be think twice before you buy as there seem to be a significant number of dodgy models out there.
