I've had my 1.4 Peugeot 207 90 SE for almost three years now, and couldn't be happier with it.

The engine is smooth and very quiet, especially at lower speeds and idle. The 1.4 90 is nippy around town, although you do need to give it slightly more revs for smaller gaps at islands and junctions, however compared to the lower powered 1.4 I tried, it's much better. The balance between economy and power is just right. Compared to my old car, a Ford Fiesta, it handles a lot better and feels more stable. The ABS works well and has a nice touch which automatically puts your hazard lights on when ABS is activated (this can be disabled using the on-board computer if you wish).

Being the SE model, it has a panoramic glass roof, a light coloured interior and extras such as fold-away arm rests. This leads to a very light and spacious feeling interior, with lots of soft touch plastics. The only negative about the interior is that the arm rests can get in the way of the cup holder which sits between the two front seats. A slight design fault in my opinion but nothing too major.

My favourite thing about the 207 however is the looks. In my opinion it's the best looking hatch on the market at the moment. From every angle its looks fresh and modern, especially in the deep blue or grey colours.

Overall, a very good car, reliable with few problems in the years I've had it, good looking and easy to drive. Only downsides are a couple of design faults such as the cup holder, and the lack of space behind the headlight unit which makes it a knuckle grazing experience to change a bulb!
