I have owned and driven a 306 HDI Estate for 4 years now and I have never been anything other than impressed. The car itself still looks good despite being 10 years old and it drives and handles well. The estate is so useful for carrying all osrts of things around including sports gear and beekeeping equipment. Interior wise the car is nothing special but at the smae point everything is still working so I have no complaints. The HDI engine is immense, powerful when it needs to be and yet still delivering me a consistent 55 miles to the gallon. Last year I looked at trading it in for a 307 estate but decided not to, the clean lines and sleek styling ... Read the complete review

My parents have the 306 estate in white and i just love the car. The boot is incredibly spacious, believe it or not, two people fit in it!!! Often i find myself sitting in the back, there's loads of space, lots more than in the 306. We have the car in white and it looks stunning, with the black bars at the top and the black bumpers, all i can say is wow!!! The car comes with dual airbags and a cd player as standard (or at least i think so). There are speakers all over the car, in the front, in the back, even in the boot!!! the radio all peugeot cars come with is very good and can store up to 18 radio stations, fm, am and long wave. ... We have had our 306 diesel estate for nearly two years and it has never let us down. It is well made and reliable. She takes a bit of getting going and isn't a farrari but once she's rolling she can really motor. She is economical and good on long runs or city driving. If you want a car that does 0-60 in 20 seconds then this isn't the one for you, but if you want a good family car cheap to run and reliable and with a bit of class, give this one a try. She can carry washing machines and tumble dryers in the back. The seats split and she comes with standards that other manufacturers charge extra for. We got lecky windows and a sunroof as well as a lifting ... Read the complete review

Initially, when I was told I was being given a 306 diesel estate as my company car, I was quite pleased. However, after many miles my opinion was becoming formed. Slow (needs the turbo - desperately), uncomfortable, cramped cabin, very noisy (even for an oil burner), and dealers who really do not seem interested all, have soured my experience of the car that is an essential part of my job (20k+ miles p.a.). The economy, which should be good with a diesel, is ruined by having to "rag" the car to make any progress. The company I work for has a fleet of these, and all of my colleague all feel the same way about this model. The only plus points are ... Read the complete review
