Advantages: INTERIOR, COMFORT, FUEL ECONOMY , PANARAMIC ROOF

Disadvantages: A LITTLE TOO EASY TO SPEED

I bought a peugeot 307 sw outdoor in july 2008 and have now just done 2000 miles in it, so thought I'd share my views.

I bought the 1.6hdi diesel version, as in these days of rising fuel costs, I thought I may save some money. I filled her up a couple of weeks ago, at a cost of 43.00 (diesei around 1.25 a liter that day) and i have now refilled after doing approx 520 miles. That seems a lot better than my clio ( petrol) that took about £33.00, for approx 340 miles.
The car has a computer display which shows you how many miles an hour, how many miles travelled and average fuel consumption. For mainly around town, mine is about 49 miles per gallon.
I have never owned a peugeot before, but husband had and he persuaded me. What a great move. It really is a lovely car to own and drive. It has got buckets of room, and the back seats fold flat, without all the messing around of taking bits out.
The panoramic roof is great making the car feel like and bright inside.
It is a very sturdy, safe feeling car, that takes corners brilliantly
The interior is very stylish with leather/fabric sports seats, and they really are very comfie, even on long journeys with my bad back.
I think the only thing i have to watch is I'm cruising along, and look at the speedo, and its 90 plus mph, so it moves, without feeling you're doing that speed.

I don't like the position of the drinks holder, as it is positioned behind the handbrake, and as I'm always drinking, its quite hard to grab it easily when driving. Has a tiny glove compartment, which is a little frustrating, as I generally have a ton of stuff to put in it. Nice feature of a fire extuingiuser, hazzard triangle, and camera for accidents, included in a case, that has velcro, which holds it in place in the boot. I really liked that.
Also because electric windows for rear windows is next to the ones for front seats, I find myself opening them without realising, then getting out of the car and seeing the back windows open, which is a bit annoying.

i chose the top of the range model ( that's a first) and it cost around £14,500 from peugeot main dealer.
Overall though I really love this car, and hope i have years of trouble free driving

Summary: WELL WORTH THE PRICE- GREAT CAR
