I have owned my Peugeot 307 SW 2.0 hdi diesel car for just over 3 years.It is a 2004 model, china blue in colour with silver roof rails and door handles.It is the S spec with electric windows,air con radio /cd and best of all a near full length glass panaromic sunroof which has an internal electronic cover.This is great for those summer days or clear starry nights.
I have the additional 2 rear seats which are exactly the same as the back passenger seats and can be removed quite easily but are quite heavy and storing them can be a problem in the house,although they do fold in half.These are not really suitable for adults due to the limited amount of legroom and I would say that are only really suitable for a child up to eleven years old.
The interior is okay but sometimes quite rattly from the dashboard,it comes and goes.The trip computer is useful giving average mpg,real time mpg,distance travelled and distance remaining on your fuel tank.I have calculated that the average mpg reading is actually five mpg lower than the true mpg.
The ride is very poor on bumpy uneven roads but on motorways it goes like a dream.
The best mpg I have had is about 53 mpg on a long trip to France but on my usual usage I get about 45.Tax is £120 a year.
Servicing at a normal garage costs me about £115 for a interim service oil and filter and usual checks and £160 for a full oil, air fuel filters etc.
Oil consumption is nil I have never topped it up once, it never uses any.
You either love or hate this car .me I would not really recommend it unless you want a cheap 7 seater without going along the box type route eg Galaxy, Zafiras.I have had no major issues with this car or breakdowns so the reliabilty factor is good
