i drove a Peugeot 309 for years. My Mum bought it from new back in 1988 and the car was passed to me and my brother when we learnt to drive. What can you say. It wasn't exactly a looker. Ours was bright red, with a gold go faster stripe and a sunroof. The interior was practical grey but still seemed to show all the stains. It was only ... Read the complete review

It was an '89 309 SR injection and is without doubt the best car I have had. I sold it in 2003 beacuse I moved away and still regret it. It is a car that scores on so many points. 1. Price - These are filthy cheap cars these days. Insurance aint bad either unlesss you go for the GTI. 2. Durability. Think about it. How many ... Read the complete review

1,2The 80?s were known for many different things, my mum being a victim of those crazy hair styles, the bouncy cheesy pop dancing and Acid house music making a huge entry into the UK. Though while all this was going on here in the UK, the French were proper hard working on their latest model the ?309?. The 309 was a short sturdy hatchback ... Read the complete review

Let me establish right from the start that I don't drive. I never have. I never want to! Both hubby and son drive, so I have a chauffeur if I need to get anywhere, so why should I worry about driving? Anyway, I digress! Hubby passed his test first time in 1971, and since that date has only ever had 5 cars. The last two have both been ... Read the complete review

I passed my test at 17, and as soon as I turned 18 I got myself one of these baby's. It was an E reg 1988 (I think!) Black 3 door - and God I loved it! Immaculate when I first got it, I was the envy of all of my friends.... for a while! These cars are great fun. Remember that if nothing else. They're not hugely fast (130bhp on the ... I own a 1992 (K) registration Peugeot 309gld which I have had for 1 year now and so far I am delighted with all aspects of the car. I find these cars easy to handle very reliable and cheap to run. Although this model is now outdated and it is no longer available to buy. I still find it a lovely looking wee car. It is very ... Read the complete review

My second car, a Peugeot 309 I have had a short time, but am well pleased with. It,s a 1987 "D" model, in white with only 2 owners. As neither of them used it much it has a genuine 68,000 miles on the clock. Must admit that when we went to open the bonnet, when I had bought it, no-one could find the bonnet switch to open ... I have an F reg 309 GTi. The first time I was taken for a ride in one I was so impressed I smiled for days. I had to get one, so a couple of weeks ago I did. Now they do look a bit boxy but to me they are beautiful (Not as much as my girlfriend tho). The 1.9 injection engine gives it the power to impress people day and night and is nice to ...
