Good car with annoying faults (Peugeot 406 Coupe SE)

I have had a Peugeot 406 coupe for almost three years from new. I have the 3.0 litre which replaces the 3.0 SE model.
I can certainly endorse the comments about its looks I think its a very fine looking car.
It is quick and can get you to license losing speed very quickly although it does feel a bit heavy, it is after all a big car. Driving in general is great. Motorway cruising is relaxed and comfortable.
The interior is very comfortable in particular great seats.
I have not actually had many problems with the car except for the remote control key losing its code twice which is a problem because without it you can't actually get in at all!
There are a few things however that take the shine off of it. These may seem minor but as with everything living with annoyances makes them worse as time goes by.
Firstly the rain sensitive wipers dont wipe unless its raining heavily in which case you would turn on the full wipe anyway, this is a problem because it doesn't have an intermittant setting so in spray or spitting rain you are constantly working the manual wipers.
Next the stereo is not that good, the radio is hard to tune to a specific station, prefering to tune to the strongest stations rather than the one you want. The CD changer jumps at the slightest bump. I changed the stereo for a Pioneer system and the difference was huge, the speakers are good though.
The front seats are powered in sliding forward but they move at a snails pace, no fun when your friends are trying to get int the back in the rain!
However there is one big problem, its so easy to break into.
My car has been broken into three times in the last year each time in the same way and I live in a nice area. All the criminals seem to know it. This results in very expensive repairs to the doors and electrics and they didn't even steal anything!
With this in mind I can't wait to get rid of it, its sad but it seems you can't have an
ything nice nowadays.
