This is not intended as a long-term road report on the Peugeot 406 2.0 GLX since I don’t own one, but having just hired one for the weekend, I do feel slightly more qualified to comment than someone who took one for a test drive. FIRST IMPRESSIONS Appearance-wise, the styling is nothing special, being on the sedate side of smart. It has been around for a few years now, having had one “mid-term” cosmetic upgrade in the grill and headlights department, plus a different rear-light treatment.
