Advantages: Good car with lots of space

Disadvantages: Running costs - if I'm being picky

I have had my Peugeot 406 for about 6 months and so far I'm really pleased with how it runs.

I have driven the 90 bhp version and always found it to be underpowered, so when the opertunity came for me to buy a 110 bhp I jumped at the chance.

I have had a few problems with it and I've needed to get the clutched changed, but spending £300 a year on a car with over 100000 miles I feel is to be expected.

There is lots of room for driver, 4 passengers with lots of baggage space. I occassionally use my car for towing a trailer and it's always up to the job.

Another good feature that isn't mentioned much is the option to turn off the passenger airbag. This was a great benefit when my daughter needed to be sitting close to me in her car seat, and we could turn the airbag off and have this option available.

I have found the car ecomonical at an avarage of 52mpg.
